Lata Chatterjee

Lata Chatterjee is Professor Emeritus, Boston University and prior to that Professor at The Johns Hopkins University. Her publications range over a number of fields including Housing Economics and Policy, Urban Environmental Quality and Socio/Economic Development in the Third World, as reflected in several books and scores of book chapters and Journal articles. She has served as a consultant to the World Bank, United Nations and the US AID, serving on their missions to Brazil, South Africa, Egypt. She served on the Governing Board of Oxfam America and Head of Global Programming. Her current research is on Urban Future of India and the Rise and Evolution of Entrepreneurial Cities. She has been a Fulbright Fellow to the Netherlands and Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University, UK. And Sweden’s Institute for the Future Studies amongst several other international institutes.
