・Background, Objectives: The world is facing “disorder.” There is a strong perception that Obama administration has accelerated this tendency rather than effectively containing it. Is this peculiar to the Obama administration or does this mean there is a fundamental shift in the role America plays in world politics today? This project will look back on the Obama administration’s foreign policy with a particular focus on East Asia and try to understand what will follow.
