Commemorative Symposium for The 50th Anniversary of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty

U.S.-Japan Relationship after Fifty Years

While confusion deepens on the situation of the security treaties of Japan, the year 2010 brings the 50th year since the conclusion of the revised Japan-U.S. Security Treaty. This symposium gathers together a group of U.S.–Japan relationship researchers from both nations to share their perspectives on the trends of the two nations’ bond, including how it is viewed by other Asian nations.
