概要
Railroads are the most environmentally-friendly transportation made and still improving their technologies to reduce environmental load. As for safety and disaster countermeasures, during the Great East Japan Earthquake no passenger deaths and injuries were recorded and the entire portion of the high-speed rail line reopened only 49 days after the disaster. Expertise and experiences of East Japan Railway Company could be applied to contribute to all of society throughout the world.
