The Great Eastern Japan Earthquake on March 11 has posed a number of challenges to Japan, East Asia and the world. What are the impacts of the earthquake on Japanese and East Asian economies? What are the main challenges for Japan’s recovery path? What are the key implications on nuclear energy globally? What does the future hold for the regional and global energy security? This seminar will bring together speakers with diverse backgrounds and expertise to provide their perspective on the challenges and opportunities, and discuss a range of policy implications that arose from the earthquake.
