Will the rise of China disturb stability in East Asia? That is the question that bothers specialists in Japan. The three basic frameworks, namely, power transition, security dilemma, and interdependence, fail to explain where we stand.
I wish to discuss why, and how we may work out a more appropiriate analysis.
